Vora Privacy Policy

Vora (“we”, “our”) is an AI English fluency coach that lets you practise spoken English in voice conversations with AI tutors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Vora you agree to this policy.

We do not collect: precise location, contacts, photos, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or any biometric data. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

3. Service providers we share data with

Vora is built on a small set of trusted services. Each receives only the data needed for its job:

Audio sent to LiveKit, Deepgram, and Cartesia is processed in flight and is not retained by us as audio files. Each provider has its own privacy policy that applies to data it receives.


4. Where data is stored

Our backend and database run on Railway (United States). Provider services (Anthropic, Deepgram, Cartesia, LiveKit, RevenueCat, Sentry) may process data in the United States or other regions covered by their own infrastructure.


5. How long we keep data

You can delete everything tied to your account at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the app. Deletion is permanent and removes your sessions, vocabulary, streak, and stored profile.

Deleting your Vora account does not cancel an active Apple subscription. Cancel the subscription in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions before deleting your account, otherwise Apple will continue to renew it.


6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

7. Children

Vora is rated 4+ but is not designed for or directed at children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account, please contact support@vora.app and we will delete it.


8. Security

We encrypt data in transit with HTTPS/TLS and rely on Apple’s Keychain on-device for secure token storage. Despite reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.


9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will post an updated policy at this URL with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
